Abstract

The article discusses the importance of promoting the Air Force Academy (AFA) in Brazil, especially after its transfer to the interior of São Paulo, which led to widespread unawareness of the institution. Analyzing data from admission exams, the text reveals that, although there are about 260 annual vacancies, the average number of candidates per vacancy is relatively low, indicating the need to increase the number of applicants. The author proposes various promotional strategies, such as lectures in schools and film screenings, to attract more youth and make the AFA a recognized institution nationwide. The conclusion emphasizes that effective promotional work can result in a more rigorous selection process and the training of cadets with greater intellectual potential.
