The article discusses the importance of teaching the English language in Aeronautics, highlighting that a lack of proficiency can lead to aviation accidents. A study conducted in 1998 revealed that many sergeants and officers do not possess the adequate level of English, compromising the safety of operations. Suggestions for improving teaching include updating sergeants, conducting practical courses, and promoting meetings between instructors and students. Mastery of English is deemed essential for professional performance and safety in aviation activities.
