The article discusses the need for specialization of logistics officers in the Aeronautics sector, highlighting the decline in service quality due to a lack of qualified personnel. The closure of the School of Specialist Officers in 1982 resulted in the loss of essential technical knowledge, negatively impacting the efficiency of logistical operations. To reverse this situation, the Aeronautics Logistics Institute (ILA) proposes the implementation of the Logistics Extension Course (CELOG), aimed at training officers to assume leadership positions and improve the integration of logistical activities. The mandatory nature of CELOG is seen as a solution to ensure that officers are prepared to face contemporary challenges in military logistics.
