Abstract

The article discusses the architecture of INTRAER, the intranet of the Aeronautics Command, which was implemented in 1997 to connect various organizations through EMBRATEL's TELESAT system. Using the TCP/IP protocol, INTRAER enables efficient communication between different applications, such as databases and email. However, the current architecture presents security vulnerabilities, raising the need to protect transmitted data. The text emphasizes the importance of ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability, and authenticity of information. Security measures, such as firewalls and encryption, are proposed to mitigate risks, especially in a context where satellite communication can be intercepted. The article concludes that improving the architecture of INTRAER is essential to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
