The article discusses the need for restructuring the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) to ensure its effectiveness in fulfilling its constitutional mission. The proposal aims to update the documentation and organization of the Ministry of Aeronautics (MAer), emphasizing the importance of maintaining the FAB in operational readiness. The new organizational structure should allow for a clear separation between core and support activities, promoting efficiency and resource optimization, as well as establishing partnerships and considering the outsourcing of services. The implementation of the new structure is expected to be completed by 2005, with an evaluation period to ensure its effectiveness.
