Abstract

This study aimed to identify the influence of performing of the scientific article on the stress level of the Official pupil of the CAP-2/2010, having as intervening factors relevant questions of the routine of the student. To do this, it was performed a descriptive research and a field one. It was used the Stress Symptom Inventory (SSI), developed by Lipp and Guevara (1994). It was also apllied a questionnaire about the completion of scientific papers and contributing factors for stress. The sample was composed of 109 military personnel, which corresponded for 93.2% of the group studied, it showed the following characteristics: 39,4% were stressed in the resistance stage, and 3,7% were in the exhausting phase. It was still collected up the completion of the scientific paper, isolatedly, is a stressful activity to 73,4%, and, when combined with other activities, it is stressor to 97,2%. The study concluded that stress affects 43,2% of the class; 3,7% were with a high degree of this symptom; the realization of the scientific article is a stressful activity, especially when added to the contributing factors quoted.
