The article discusses the need for a new doctrine for the Ground Troops of the Brazilian Air Force, proposing the creation of the Aeroterrestrial Company of Defense and Rescue. The mission of this company will be to ensure the defense of air installations and conduct rescue operations in combat situations. The text emphasizes the importance of constant training and professional qualification of military personnel, as well as suggesting the acquisition of military material suitable for new technological demands. The structure of the company will consist of a command, defense and rescue platoons, and combat groups. The article concludes that the creation of this company is essential for the security of air operations and that entry should be voluntary, with rigorous selection tests.
