An Educational Plan for the Air Force

Abstract

The article discusses the increasing presence of Brazilian Air Force military personnel in university settings and the need for a "Permanent Educational Plan." The author, Maj Brig do Ar R/R Lauro N. Menezes, argues that academic training is essential for the professional and cultural enhancement of officers, who often feel dissatisfied with the level of knowledge acquired during military training. The text highlights the lack of institutional commitment to continuous education, resulting in a fragmented learning culture.
