The article discusses the proposal for the creation of the Complementary Frame of Aviator Officers (Q.C.Av.) in the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). The author, Cap. Av. Antonio Augusto Walther de Almeida, analyzes different officer training models in countries such as the United States, England, and Brazil, highlighting the shortcomings of the Brazilian model, which is exclusively academic. The proposal aims to integrate young individuals from diverse backgrounds and ages, promoting a training course that maintains the rigor of the Academy of the Air Force (A.F.A.) standards. The Q.C.Av. seeks to provide a viable alternative that enriches the FAB structure and offers savings in the education sector. The author concludes that implementing this frame can ensure the advancement of the most outstanding officers and improve flexibility in command functions.
