The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operations in Joint Operational Theather

Currently, we have observed the Brazilian Armed Forces increasing activities with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Latin America Aerospace & Defense 2009 showed manufacturers that proposed to solve the problems of implementation not envisioned by the future users yet. Within this future use, it is necessary to think about the coordination and control of the flights to be conducted within a joint operational theater. Who knows what will be the interference from vehicles used by Ground Forces in relation to manned aircraft in the same area of combat? This article aims at presenting the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle of interest to the Brazilian Armed Forces, the necessary modes of coordination to the flights in each tactical environment and the possible control measures by the air traffic control organizations in the Operational Theater
