Abstract

Each era reflects a vision of leadership expressing the prevailing ideas and values of these stages. The modernization, which most organizations have promoted, leads to an analysis of which leadership profile would be necessary to be formed in order to conduct the organizations into this future path. A bibliographic study was developed to identify the skills necessary to form an organizational leader and to enable future leaders to reflect on the aspects to be considered for their professional development. In order to succeed in this task, the literature review comprised subjects such as: the development of leadership and vision of some specialists in this study. According to the searched administrative literature, a table of the necessary abilites for this training was formulated classifying them into personal skill, group ability and adaptive ability. This study is complemented by the suggestion that the stimulus to these skills will contribute to the success of the leader.
