The article describes the AL-X Project, a Brazilian Air Force initiative to develop a new light attack aircraft. Identifying the need in 1992, the FAB established preliminary operational requirements for the aircraft, aiming to meet close air support, interdiction, and interception missions in challenging regions such as the Amazon.
