a simbiose entre líderes e seguidores

O presente estudo examina a relação dinâmica entre liderança e followership, enfatizando o papel ativo dos seguidores no sucesso organizacional, particularmente no âmbito militar. Partindo de teorias clássicas de liderança (Stogdill, 1974; Bass, 1990) e do conceito de followership desenvolvido por Kelley (1988), analisa-se como os seguidores não são apenas receptores de influência, mas também agentes críticos e autônomos que contribuem ativamente para a tomada de decisões e para a coesão organizacional. Por meio de uma revisão de literatura e da integração de tabelas e gráficos explicativos, destaca-se como os líderes podem adaptar seu estilo aos diferentes perfis de seguidores (passivo, conformista, alienado, pragmático e exemplar) e como o followership efetivo se torna mais relevante à medida que os oficiais ascendem na hierarquia e suas responsabilidades de gestão aumentam. Os resultados destacam a necessidade de fomentar uma cultura de followership crítico e proativo, como complemento indispensável à liderança estratégica, para garantir a retenção de talentos, a inovação e a sustentabilidade organizacional em contextos desafiadores.
