Resumen

Este artículo analiza la evolución del modelo de negocio de una empresa privada de cohetes, Rocket Lab. Dadas las rápidas transformaciones del sector espacial, donde el sector privado es cada vez más relevante, se sabe poco sobre los modelos de negocio más adecuados para lidiar con nuevos desafíos. A través de una búsqueda longitudinal en archivos de Internet, realizamos un relevamiento de los principales hechos de la historia de RocketLab y utilizamos el modelo teórico CANVAS para analizar
la evolución de la lógica empresarial de la empresa. Los resultados indican que la propuesta de valor siguió siendo el núcleo del modelo de negocio de la compañía, sufriendo pequeños ajustes. Al mismo tiempo, los demás componentes del modelo empresarial han sufrido adaptaciones más importantes a lo largo del tiempo para satisfacer las necesidades de socios importantes, especialmente
los militares.
