The article discusses the evolution of Patrol Aviation in the modern context of military operations, highlighting the importance of electronic warfare and the dominance of the electromagnetic spectrum. The Gulf War and the Falklands War are cited as examples where technological superiority and the use of smart weapons were decisive. The need for proper training for tactical coordinators is emphasized, as they must understand the operational environment and effectively utilize available sensors. The evolution of vectors, including aircraft and ships, is analyzed, showing how technology has transformed patrol operations. The article concludes that preparation and knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum are essential for the success of patrol missions.
