The article discusses Brazil's entry into the suborbital launch market, which represents a significant opportunity valued at US$ 120 million per year. The Barreira do Inferno Launch Center (CLBI) is highlighted as a strategic asset, capable of developing and launching SONDA series rockets. Despite the technological potential, Brazil is not investing enough in suborbital commercialization, limiting its participation in a growing market. The text proposes a series of strategies to modernize CLBI's infrastructure, train professionals, and establish international partnerships, aiming to maximize the economic and scientific benefits of space exploration.
