Abstract

The article discusses the importance of ground training for maritime patrol aircraft crews, highlighting the need to maintain a high level of preparedness even in the face of budget constraints. Maritime patrol aviation is crucial for the defense of Brazil's maritime sovereignty, and proper crew training is essential for success in complex missions. The author proposes replacing some flight missions with ground training, which can be conducted in modules that simulate real operational conditions. This approach not only reduces costs but also improves coordination and crew performance. The article emphasizes that the integration between pilots, mechanics, and operators is fundamental for operational effectiveness.
