In the planning of the vehicle loading in the material distribution system of the Brazilian Air Force, one may decide for designating vehicles to predefined routes and allocate cargoes to these vehicles, considering the parameters and restrictions of the cargoes and the vehicles, aiming at obtaining the maximum benefit to the transportation. In this context, this research has the objective to develop a method of solution, especially designed to optimize the transport and distribution operations of the materials in the interest of the Brazilian Air Force made from a distribution center, having developed a mathematical formulation and implemented a Linear Programming solution capable of offering an optimal planning of the allocations cargo-vehicle-route that maximizes the total benefit for the cargo.
