Abstract

This study aimed to identify the factors that influence on the divergent performance of the external pilots of C-99A in 1°/2° Transport Group during unit training. Identifying these factors enables the implementation of corrective methods aiming to improve the process used in air training and to increase air safety of flight operations with the aircraft. The data collection was performed by checking the pilots' evaluation sheets and flight schedules. It also addressed the training process adopted in the squad. The research showed that external pilots' performance is influenced more significantly from the flight frequency, while the students' previous experience is a less important factor in performance during training.
