This study aimed to identify the factors which contributed to the adaptation to the automated flight system available in EC-135 aircraft. Identifying these factors is very relevant to the Special Transportation Group (GTE), as it was possible to provide an understanding of factors that influence the adaptation to this type of action, adjusting them to the Instruction and Maintenance Operational Plan (PIMO). The introduction of this work has a background of the recent deployment of the EC-135 aircraft at GTE and presents the research problem. It is verified a checking of the pilots flight reports, flight hours report and a questionnaire they answered. In the end, it was possible to conclude that the pilots acceptance behavior in relation to the new technology, the PIMO syllabus which is taught in the GTE, and the previous flight experience were factors that contributed to the flight adaptation in the EC-135 aircraft.
