Creation project effectiveness of the Air Force Sports Center in the perspective of stakeholders

The present study aimed to analyze the stakeholders’ point of view about the impact of the critical success factors on the effectiveness of the Air Force Sports Center project implementation. The main actors involved in the process were identified and investigated by answering a questionnaire. The instrument was based on the critical success factors proposed by Pinto and Slevin (1987). The questions were adapted according to the reality of the proposal, so that it was possible to analyze the degree of importance of each critical factor as well as the strategic and tactical effectiveness of project. The results showed that most stakeholders’ understood the project is following a good path, and presents a bigger level of strategy than tactics effectiveness. Nevertheless, some of them need to receive more attention to meet their expectations. The methodology employed also pointed out the potential errors that can occur in the development of the CDAer implementation, and shall be better managed. Conclusively, it is suggested to carry out a clear problem diagnosis, especially those related to clients, staff, financial resources and organizational structure, respecting the balance between the strategic and tactical effectiveness, in order to meet all the interests of the stakeholders.
