School Excellence and Continuing Education in Electronic Warfare of the Brazilian Air Force

This study aimed to evaluate the influence of the curriculum harmonization of the continuing education for the area of Electronic Warfare ( EW) about the school excellence presented by the students of the “Curso de Especialização em Análise de Ambiente Eletromagnético” (CEAAE), in technical module, during the period of 1998 to 2002. The method of descriptive research through documental and bibliographical research was used. To enable a logical sequence of ideas it was made a resumption of the beginning of CEAAE, as an initial step in a program of institutionalization of excellence in the fields of war in the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). It was identified the special characteristics of the professionals graduated by CEAAE and the impact of their actions on the progress of FAB. Then, a study about the harmony between different curriculum stages of continuing education at EW and its relationship with the school excellence was conducted. Finally, after careful analysis and data interpretation, based on the presented theoretical basis, it was concluded that the School Excellence presented by the students during the period of 1998 to 2002 was significantly influenced by the Harmonizing Curriculum of the continued education in Electronic Warfare.
