Abstract

UNIFA, due to its uniqueness as the only military university in the country, qualifies, then, as an ideal campus for scientific debates, in addition to the projection of scenarios to the aforementioned themes, emanating from teaching and research, providing vast potential for studies and knowledge. In between, it is necessary to support the adoption of concepts and structures that can reward the intention to transform the social reality, intervening positively, in the context of the communities that are subordinate to it, thus broadening the knowledge produced in it. Under this aspect, its vocation is not limited only to the regular teaching of students, but gives deep expressiveness to the extension to the extent that it interacts, effectively, with society. In this sense, UNIFA reveals itself as an advance in the military mentality, since its engagement in the exchange of academic experiences contributes to the civilian segment of society, improving concepts related to Defense, considering the broad and justified vision of contemporaneity in transformation.
