Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the electronic equipment electromagnetic shielding relative to the radiated emission using absorbing materials with the formulation of additives ferrite powders of Mn-Zn in the frequency band around Ghz. This material was designed and developed by the Institute for Advanced Studies (IEAv) in the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DCTA) . It is made of resins and used in applications as electromagnetic waves shielding in equipment for aviation and space with the main purpose to be applied on launcher vehicles of the Brazilian space program. It was obtained the patent letters on formulation and innovation; thus concluding a new innovative way of shielding in electronics in relation to radiated emission that operate in this sector. It also demonstrates a new technology for testing using the methodology of reflectivity measurement, which uses resonant cavities methods. This new methodology replaces the methodology Arch NRL (Naval Research Laboratory) and proves to be more efficient with a lower cost.
