About the Journal

The evaluation process of the articles submitted to the Journal of the University of the Air Force occurs in two steps: the first one consists of a preliminary evaluation in which the scientific format is observed regarding the objectives, language and methodology, as well as the way in which the article fits into the journal profile. In the second stage, the article is evaluated according to the double-blind peer review system, and is submitted to subject matter experts. The criteria to evaluate the articles take into account relevance of the theme, originality of the contribution to related areas, clarity of the text, suitability of the bibliography, structure and theoretical development, methodology, conclusions and contribution to knowledge in the related areas. This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge.
